Newly created role within the Property Team for a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for leading key functions throughout the National Business Portfolio, reporting to the National Facilities Manager you will be working to maximise the efficiency of the Facilities function.


Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Co-ordination of general maintenance requests and ensure all work orders are completed within agreed SLA's.
  • Responsible for Preventative Maintenance Obligations to be adhered to.
  • Verifying maintenance activities performed are in accordance with agreed scope and are 100% compliance with safety, risk assessment etc.
  • Manage all landlord and property related issues ensuring sites are safe and fully operational.
  • Review and administration of all completed works. Closing out works, processing contractor invoices.
  • Liaise with landlords and key stakeholders around deliverables and recoverables.
  • Administration of contractor compliance with OH&S obligations
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of key stakeholders from within the business and beyond.
  • Have a clear understanding and shared accountability for the delivery of Reactive Maintenance SLAs.
  • Operate with a safetyfirst mentality.

Other characteristics that will ensure your success, you will ideally possess:

  • Have relevant multi-site management experience.
  • Strong organisational/ administrative skills.
  • Sound Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act, Essential Services regulations.
  • 3 + years' experience in Facilities Management or in a similar role within a property, building/facilities management retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with various stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Excellent organisational and technical FM skills including the ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines and effectively balance competing demands.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and assess, develop and negotiate solutions to facilities issues.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, problem solve, identify solutions and take action.
  • Proficiency in the use of /Microsoft Office & Excel, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative to resolve problems.
