About this team

The Brand Digital & Social team creates and executes locally relevant brand, social media and digital content creator strategies that aim to build our brand funnel and drive authentic connections with our guests and communities.

We also lead campaigns from start to finish, developing campaign-specific strategies, media plans, channel executions and recaps.

We work closely with different teams including Ecomm, Digital Marketing, Creative, Internal and PR, Brand Operations, Community, Product and Finance each and every day.

This role reports into the Brand Manager.

A day in the life:

  • Using research & insights, you will own the creation and delivery of the AUNZ social media and digital content creator strategies and plans that ladder into the broader Brand Digital & Social strategy and OKRs (objectives & key results).
  • Responsible for building our brand presence across various social and digital platforms to drive metrics including growth in followers, engagement and UGC.
  • Own day to day coordination of local Facebook & Instagram accounts (and other social accounts as and when required), ensuring set OKRs are met. Often this includes copy writing as well as content capturing.
  • Own and execute our digital content creator strategy and plan, ensuring it ladders up to our broader Brand Digital & Social OKRs. This includes establishing and owning a local YouTube and/or TikTok partnership and owning the product seeding approach and all necessary administration.
  • Create, communicate and execute social and digital content creator plans to meet campaign, ambassador, event or other initiative KPIs. This includes concepting and briefing social first campaigns, submitting creative deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Own briefing of and collaborating with the Digital Marketing team for key campaigns. This includes developing and driving innovative paid digital advertising strategies in partnership with the Paid Specialist that achieve set OKRs
  • You will be responsible for the digital engagement/community management strategy in partnership with the Guest Education Centre (GEC) lead, briefing, guiding and supporting the digital engagement team within the GEC.
  • Own parts of the Brand Digital & Social budget and all necessary administration around that.
  • Work cross functionally with a variety of teams both locally and internationally, externally and internally. This includes owning the relationship and day to day liaison with our external agency including briefing and supplying relevant information and assets.
  • Support with analysing, collating and reporting metrics for your channels as well as campaigns, quarters and annual business needs based on objectives.
  • You will be flexible and open to general brand/marketing tasks outside of your specific channel.
  • You will remain current with industry trends in social media, digital advertising, search and other innovative digital platforms.

Qualifications:

  • A diploma or undergraduate degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • 34 years of clearly visible digital and social media and influencer marketing, digital paid advertising and/or paid social experience either client or agency side
  • Analytically minded, comfortable manipulating and analysing large amounts of data in order to make actionable recommendations
  • Experience with social media reporting, listening and marketing platforms such as Sprinklr, Later, Facebook Pixel
  • Able to write clearly and quickly, present your ideas in an organised and coherent manner and be willing to stand up to the challenges of other cross functional teams
  • Copy writing skills and proven experience, ideally in a social media setting
  • Strong experience in marketing strategy, execution and implementation
  • Strong experience with social and digital engagement strategies
  • Experience in MS Office, Indesign and Photoshop favoured
  • Coding skills (HTML, CSS) favoured
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English language and platform specific copywriting skills
  • Strong comprehension of visual language
