About the Role:


Enjoy exploring your talents while supporting our clients to achieve their goals and learn new skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

Port Pirie Day Options and Experiences have casual roles available with shifts offered Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.

This is an engaging and varied role with different program activities including arts and craft, LEGO and construction, science activities, and an explorers group, to name just a few.


Other responsibilities include:
- providing 1:1 or 1:3 support
- supporting clients to achieve their NDIS goals
- completing progress reports and reporting incidents
- working with clients to promote individual choice and control
- providing transport to clients as required
- maintaining a duty of care for clients, other staff, and yourself

About You:


You will be a qualified support worker with knowledge of the _NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct_ and _Quality and Safeguarding Framework_.

You will share the Bedford values and have a genuine passion for working with people with disability to achieve their goals.

As a bonus, if you have a hobby, skill, or talent you could have an opportunity to share that with our clients.


Other skills and qualifications include:
- a minimum of Certificate III in Disability (or equivalent)
- a current First Aid and CPR certification
- a current Driver's Licence
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- able to do with and not for

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated:

  • an acceptable clearance to work in the disability sector (DHS / DCSI / NDIS
- a National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)
- evidence of right to work in Australia
- evidence of full vaccination with a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine or an acceptable exemption
