About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team as a Disability Support Worker. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to provide support to a child requiring assistance within the home, involving community access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Accompany individuals on community outings, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the support team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • Qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
