ABOUT THE ROLE
Barker College is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant based at our Hornsby campus.

This will be a Permanent Part-Time (0.5FTE) role with an immediate start.


Join our Finance team as the Accounts Receivable Assistant and be an integral part of the day-to-day functions of the Accounts Receivable area specifically, and the Finance team in general.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager and working closely with all members of the Finance team you will be responsible for the recording of and accounting for all funds received by the School.

This position undertakes a range of accounts receivable duties, including but not limited to:

- ensuring that all receipts are uploaded to the Barker finance software and reconciled to the bank statements on a daily basis,
- management of automatic payments (credit card and direct debit),
- following up declined payments,
- assisting with the allocation of charges to students' accounts on a termly basis,
- assisting with parent queries after a fee run,
- assisting with School banking requirements,
- reconciliation of tuckshop takings,
- debtors control account reconciliation to the general ledger,
- assist with the regular review of internal controls, policies and procedures,
