About the Position


As a Team Leader you will oversee a team of Disability Support Workers who provide support, encouragement and guidance to our customers attending our Day Program.

You will strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.


You will lead your team and provide hands-on assistance with customers partaking in a range of activities such as: arts and crafts, woodwork, gardening, cooking and more.


This position will be leading a team in our Day Program - The Hive, located in Katoomba.'The Hive' operates Monday to Friday from 8.30am -3.30pm.


This position is part-time permanent with 60 hours per fortnight with potential to work up to 76hours per fortnight and will commence as soon as possible.


Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to work across operating hours
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
  • Smart Phone
  • Current Driver's License
