Role Overview

The role of a Registered Nurse is crucial in ensuring optimal health outcomes for patients and their families. You will be responsible for promoting best practices in patient care, collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary health team, and advocating for the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to ethical nursing practices.
  • Engage in effective communication with team members to plan, implement, assess, and evaluate patient care.
  • Support the needs of diverse patient populations, including indigenous and multicultural groups.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  • Experience in an acute care environment, demonstrating the ability to manage a busy workload.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including various shifts.
