This role will work closely with another part time Senior Associate to provide full time coverage (with an overlap day) and seamless service to clients.

You will be involved in providing advice to government agencies on a variety of project planning and acquisition matters, as well as undertaking Land Court litigation.

You will have the opportunity to give presentations and to work with other lawyers across the firm to deliver a high quality legal service to our clients.

Key responsibilities This role will see you:having a high level of client interaction and exposure to prominent government clients;undertaking advisory work, drafting short form agreements related to land, and drafting court documents; andliaising with clients, experts and counsel, managing files and attending court appearances briefing and liaising with counsel.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

at least 5 years post admission experienceexperience in planning and acquisition in a private practice or in-house environment (litigation, property, and/or government experience would be advantageous)superior written and verbal expression skills and an aptitude for reshaping and expressing complex concepts conciselya naturally collegiate mindset and positive and enthusiastic attitude, which prioritises respect for peers and collaborative working.

In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter; someone who is able to work autonomously and is focused on attention to detail and providing outstanding service to our clients.

Our Public Sector team advises a wide range of government agencies on some of their most complex and sensitive programs, from project inception through to contract management.
