HR Partners by Randstad is thrilled to announce a collaboration with one of Australia's Banks to hire an Employee Relations (ER) Consultant to join their team in Docklands, operating on a hybrid working model. This position is ideal for an ER Specialist well-versed in Australian Employment Law and who thrives on tackling the most intricate ER tasks within the organization. Note that this is a fixed-term contract until December 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Line Managers in handling complex misconduct processes and addressing disciplinary matters
- Resolve employee grievances and facilitate the resolution of issues among parties
- Implement continuous enhancements to ER processes and contribute to team projects
- Serve as a mentor for junior members in the ER team

Key Selection Criteria:
- Proficiency in managing employee misconduct, terminations, poor performance, health-related issues, harassment, bullying, and other grievances, as well as conducting investigations
- Substantial experience in employment law or a minimum of 4 years in ER positions
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in various complex cases and provide practical advice
- Advanced comprehension of employment, discrimination, and equal opportunity laws, as well as the correlation between policies, employment contracts, awards, and agreements
