About the Role
TAFE Gippsland coordinates the facilitation of one of the Skills First Reconnect contracts within the Gippsland region.
The Reconnect Case Worker is instrumental in the success of this program, working with key local stakeholders to refer eligible participants and provide case management to implement wrap-around support to assist participants to enter into, and maintain a work or training pathway.
TAFE Gippsland are seeking to appoint a Reconnect Case Worker to work collaboratively with the Student Support Services team to provide outreach and case management, to assist community members who have been disengaged from work or study.
The Reconnect Case Worker assesses the needs and goals of each participant and provides them with tailored support and highly individualised case management.
A six-month probationary period applies to the role.Experience and Qualifications
- A postsecondary school qualification in welfare, social work, community service, case management, counselling, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a case management model to support diverse groups.
All TAFE Gippsland staff require a current Drivers Licence, employee Working with Children Clearance and satisfactory National Police Check and Current Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (2 doses).
