Your Responsibilities- Provide technical support to claims teams in line with Victorian workers compensation law and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines
- Provide regular advice and feedback to Claims Specialists / Case Managers and Team Leaders on liability, work capacity, permanent impairment, and weekly payment entitlements
- Review and provide feedback on current claims management practices and procedures to ensure emerging trends are identified and managed
- Develop strategic initiatives and procedures to ensure all service, performance, and compliance measures are achieved
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with organisational compliance with legal, governance, and WorkSafe Victoria agent requirements
- Strong technical experience, preferably within the Victorian workers compensation scheme
- Experience in managing workers compensation claims within all or most claims management segments
- Experience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities
- Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Experience in leadership, particularly coaching and supporting others to succeed
- Qualifications in Law and working experience in personal injury litigation would be highly advantageous
