**Global Tax Advisor

About The Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a Global Tax Advisor to play a pivotal role within the Corporate Finance function of our organization.

Working in close collaboration with the Global Tax Manager, CFO, and Global Finance Director, this position holds the key responsibility of ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of all tax compliance obligations across the entire Hansen organization globally.


Key Responsibilities

  • At halfyear and fullyear tax, work closely with the corporate and regional teams and the company auditor to deliver the tax aspects of ASX reporting (including tax effect accounting).
  • Lead the process to prepare and submit income tax returns for entities in each of the jurisdictions the Hansen organization operates in.
  • Ensure Transfer Pricing documentation is kept up to date and is reflective of the Group's Transfer Pricing Policy.
  • Contribute to cross functional projects aimed at delivering the Group's tax strategy.
  • Assist with developing the tax knowledge of the global finance team through a combination of training, mentoring and robust review processes. Establish and monitor policies, frameworks and related documentation to ensure best tax practices across the business.

About You


CA/CPA or post graduate qualifications in taxation or financial related discipline with significant tax accounting/compliance experience gained in a Big 4 and/or multi-national environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to achieve outcomes through working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization as well as the ability to communicate tax concepts to non-tax specialists.


You will also have:
- strong Tax Effect Accounting Skills covering day to day business operations and requirements associated with Business Acquisitions.
- exposure to International Taxation regimes with specific exposure to Transfer Pricing and Software Licensing and Withholding Tax.
- great organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within set time frames. exposure to an Australian Public Company environment with knowledge and experience in the international software space which will be a big advantage.
