Position Summary A Senior Manager in RSM Melbourne's tax division has a broad range of client and people management responsibilities.
This is a technically challenging role with a diverse client portfolio to deliver corporate tax advice and support juniors to deliver work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifying and solving issues with Tax implications for clients;
Research and analysis of case law and legislation;
Coach staff on dealing with complex technical and risk areas;
Review of income tax returns and provisions;
Management of junior staff members;
Mentor and development of junior staff member;
Client management;
Drafts management letters in conjunction with the Partner providing commercial and practical advice;
Understands relevant independence rules and their applicability to the division and Firm;
Identifies areas of high risk to the Firm;
Technical leader through training staff, conducting client and staff presentations and developing new products and services for clients; and
Performs technical reviews of taxation consulting work.
Essential
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Business / Commerce / Finance degree with Accounting Major
Completed CA or equivalent Desirable Business / Commerce / Finance/ Law double degree with Accounting Major
Master of Taxation Essential DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE &
ATTRIBUTES:
8+ years' experience in Professional Services
3 – 4 years managing a team
Business development experience
Previous experience managing a team
Excellent client and project management skills
Strong communication Skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Life At
