How you will make contributions that matter:
Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of consolidated tax return and schedules
- Tax effect accounting
- Managing fringe benefits tax reporting
- Preparing and/or review of monthly and quarterly business activity statements
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement
This is an opportunity to build on your existing experience, develop a deep understanding of the business and your stakeholder group and work in a small and collaborative tax team where you'll enjoy a broad range of responsibilities.
About you:
Eager to learn and own your work, you will also have:
- A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of financial accounting and tax effect accounting
- Proven experience in either chartered or business environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive, 'cando' attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively with advisors, accountants and other stakeholders.
