We are looking for a new support worker/disability carer to look after some of our clients. These shifts will vary.

Some of our clients like to come to Ability House to engage in art and craft therapy, while others need in home and community care.

Some weekend work is required as are occasional sleepover shifts with the clients. We like to plan events for our clients, so sometimes we'll have an adventure in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast

We are seeking an allrounder, and experience in disability care is highly regarded. An interest in craft is also desirable. Our clients are intellectually impaired and some live with mental health difficulties. We are not hiring anyone looking for inactive sleepover work, and we are not a SIL service. Nor are we a day service.


If you're passionate about making a difference in peoples lives, and if you hold your ABN and a current drivers license, blue and yellow card, then we'd love to hear from you.

We do offer salary for those not wanting to work under an ABN and this can be discussed.
