The IT and Digital Transformation team takes charge of providing and sustaining IT business applications, infrastructure, and digital services across our organization, serving both Councillors and the community.

The role:

  • Evaluate the impact of IT and digital initiatives
  • Conduct thorough change impact assessments and risk analysis
  • Facilitate a seamless digital transformation that fundamentally improves business performance and supports Banyule City Council's commitment to meeting the dynamic needs of our community.

Skills, experience and certificates:

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Business, Commerce, Communications or Human Resources field.
  • Industry certification in an organisational change management methodology. PROSCI accreditation is desirable.
  • Success in the management of organisational change and communication activities for IT and service delivery projects, ideally within large and complex organisations.
  • Experience in recommending the appropriate level of organisational change activities based on risk assessment and providing the estimated effort and project costs.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems solutions, projects and the system development lifecycle.
