About the role:

The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates closely with the Digital Marketing Lead and Manager to elevate the Suncorp brands by creating and implementing innovative digital campaigns.

This position is dedicated to leveraging data insights to achieve profitable growth and enhance the performance of Suncorp's insurance products.

Key Objectives include:

  • Lead data-driven digital marketing strategies to deliver personalized experiences and segmentation for Suncorp.
  • Harness Suncorp's range of technologies to craft seamless Omni-channel Digital Experiences.
  • Partner with the agency to execute designated programs and maintain an ongoing digital initiative.
  • Implement best practices using digital, data, and technology to reach revenue and efficiency goals.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including the agency, Brand, Content, and Web teams.

More specifically, you will:

  • Drive innovation through strategic digital and social marketing, utilizing data, technology, and analytics to achieve tangible business outcomes.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing activities for Suncorp Groups' insurance brands.
  • Create, manage, and personalize customer experiences across all digital channels.
  • Utilize data and technology to deliver targeted digital media and ensure a seamless onsite experience.
  • Monitor competitors' activities for market share insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to provide audience segmentation insights for campaign strategies.
  • Deliver comprehensive digital marketing reports with key insights, learnings, and recommendations.
  • Stay informed about industry changes and identify opportunities for early adoption of new technologies.

COMMUNICATION

  • Influence stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the Brand & Marketing program.

TEAMWORK

  • Collaborate across departments to solve issues, explore opportunities, and present new ideas for consideration.
  • Engage collaboratively across divisions and functions to support strategic objectives.

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE

  • Contribute to a positive team culture and foster an environment that encourages peak performance.
  • Seek opportunities to leverage knowledge and capabilities across the business for optimal outcomes.

About You:

  • Hold a Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 2-4+ years of marketing experience in a similar digital environment, focusing on digital and customer marketing.
  • Proficiency in Australian digital networks and publishers.
  • Understanding of digital analytics and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, consulting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify future digital trends for the benefit of the marketing team.
  • Experience in ROI marketing management and data analysis.

Key Capabilities:

  • Experience with implementing Personalisation and Testing programs.
  • Prior Agency/Consultancy experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in managing digital performance media programs and ad serving platforms.
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the marketing technology landscape.
  • Ability to simplify complex information effectively.
  • High attention to detail and quality with a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Excellent project and workflow management abilities.
