We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly team in Canberra.

The Role
:


IHMS is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Canberra team to work towards ensuring effective operation of the accounts payable function on a day-to-day basis.


Key responsibilities will include
:

  • Timely processing of provider invoices via appropriate systems including correctly coding the invoice and scanning all relevant documentation
  • Balance intercompany accounts for all Regional legal entities
  • Complete vendor account reconciliations against supplier statements.
  • Ensure staff expenses are paid promptly and are reviewed against supporting documentation. Any noncompliance with internal policies to be reported to Direct Manager.
  • Maintain, reconcile, and top up petty cash floats, expense petty cash expenditure.
  • Provider communication to resolve queries and follow up on invoices.

About You
:

  • Experience in high volume Accounts Payable role
  • Working Knowledge of SUN6 (AP Function) desirable.
  • A relevant tertiary degree qualification,
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full and valid working rights in Australia
