As the new Accounts Payable Officer you will be responsible for recording and processing all supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and reimbursables received for payment for Adecco - DFR.

Description


The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for executing accurate and timely payments of all supplier and subcontractor invoices, managing risk and ensuring compliance with company policies.

They will reconcile the accounts payable ledger, prepare cash flow forecasts, prioritize payments, process employee expenses, and provide support to end-users and suppliers.


You will:

  • Process payment of all invoices promptly on receipt of approval.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for in the correct period.
  • Ensure all payment requests (invoices, expense claims and reimbursables) are in line with company policies.
  • Assist with reporting, including Payment Times Reporting for small vendors, aligning to company expectations and policy.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly accounts payable cashflow forecast, providing accurate detail to Senior Accountant.
  • Conduct supplier statement reconciliation.
  • Prioritise payments as requested by Head of Finance and Senior Accountant, in line with company policy.
  • Support end users and suppliers with all payment related processes and enquiries.
  • Process timely and accurate processing of employee expense claims, corporate credit cards and reimbursables.
  • Maintain well organised filing and record keeping, at all times.
  • Support end users and suppliers with all payment related process
  • Maintain industry knowledge and stay abreast of any company process and policy changes relating to the accounts payable function.
  • Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia

Profile
As the successful applicant you will have previous experience working in a similar role. You will have a natural curiosity and ability to build trusted, collaborative partnerships and working relationships.
