Selection criteria to be addressed:

  • Tertiary Qualification as a Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Dietician, Physiotherapist, or Psychologist, with extensive specialist knowledge working within their discipline, and registration working with AHPRA where applicable.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents, 018 years of age, with developmental disability, and/or families who have a child with a chronic or complex condition, inclusive of infant/toddler feeding difficulties.
  • Postgraduate training or experience in areas related to developmental disability including discipline specific assessments, therapy, and in infant/toddler feeding issues, as well as an understanding of case management.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team of medical, nursing and allied health professionals, using effective communication and problem resolution skills to ensure best outcomes and access to services for the child and family.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with health professionals and with government and nongovernment organisations, and consumers establishing and maintaining links and pathways to ensure best outcomes for the child and family.
  • Role and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with delegations, policies, procedures and operations systems of HealthShare NSW, and in line with the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
