Our client is a global software business that specialize in financial software.

They are currently hiring for a Program Manager to head up the L&D function for the Sales team for a selection of global regions.


The Sales Learning & Development team is a shared-services group function responsible for enabling sales talent and strategic partners across the globe to do the best work of their lives.


The sales team that this role is responsible for operates through partnerships with third party vendor sites in different countries.

The Program Manager acts in a 'train the trainer' capacity, ensuring that partner sales managers and sales trainers are properly equipped to train and onboard their sales teams aligned to business expectations through managing processes and frameworks to scale enablement.


Facilitation and delivery of training material may be required occasionally however this is NOT a training role where you will focus on delivery - the main focus is managing the framework and strategy for the L&D program.

This role is initially a 12-month contract however there is potential it could extend beyond this.


Our client is based in Sydney's CBD but is comfortable for someone to work in the office or fully remote.

There would be an expectation to come into the office 1-2 times per month as a minimum however.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Reporting

Drive vendor partner Quality Assurance processes, assessing the quality of:
Manager coaching
Consultant conversation
Training delivery
Work with Quality Assessors to align on QA process and execution.
Contribute to & deliver Quarterly Business Reviews for partner sites.
Evaluate Team Leader coaching sessions, providing feedback in Coach-the-Coach sessions.
Implement call evaluation calibration sessions driven by Team Leaders and Quality Assessors

Performance Improvement

Consult with stakeholders to confirm performance gaps.
Design learning interventions in line with a Performance Based Training methodology, identified performance gaps, and business changes.
Train vendor site partners on the delivery of training content aligned to expectations.
Observe facilitations, and provide constructive feedback to vendor partners.
Complete regular performance gap analysis to drive continuous improvement in line with business expectations.

New Hire Training and Observation

Partner with vendor sites to coordinate new hire onboarding and training schedule

Train vendor partners how to conduct onboarding as per business expectations, including the delivery of sales methodology, accounting workflow sessions, and more.

Develop and refine the onboarding process to ensure maximum efficiency.

Content Creation

Run a Needs Analysis following content requests from stakeholders.
Manage end-to-end project timelines to ensure delivery to the business unit(s).
Work with Team Leaders, Quality Assessors, and Sales Leaders to roll out and embed new content.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

Experience in Program / Project Management ideally from a Sales/L&D background
Training Program Management - 3-5 years minimum
Prior experience in managing and overseeing trainers
Experience in analyzing and evaluating training programs and providing feedback
Able to work across multiple time zones in a global environment
Experience in L&D within Sales or Call Centre environment.
