About the Role
Training settings, such as hospitals, must be accredited to coordinate and deliver work-based training for our training programs.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide leadership, strategic input and operational management of accreditation of training programs in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

This role is also responsible for implementing policies and procedures and supporting continuous improvement activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and managing the work of the teams across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to ensure a streamlined and consistent approach to service delivery and advice to College stakeholders
  • Managing accreditation schedules for training programs to ensure coordination across the Training Accreditation Services team and the broader College
  • Leading and managing performance across the team, including performance management, recruitment and mentoring
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage and resolve complex accreditation issues
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within internal processes and as a demonstrable output of accreditation processes;
  • Developing and maintaining external stakeholder relationships to facilitate processes to improve training quality
  • Identifying, managing and escalating risks where appropropriate

Desired Skills and Experience:

About the Role

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
  • Senior level operational management experience in a postgraduate education, health or similar environment
  • Demonstrated experience in an accreditation, compliance or regulatory function
  • Demonstrated skills in effective relationship management and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highlevel written and oral communication skills, including negotiation skills and policy/process documentation
  • Experience in leading large programs of change
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills and staff development
