About the role:


Anglicare have an exciting opportunity for an Intake & Family Support Worker to join our Community Services team in Liverpool.


In this role you will be providing intake, administrative and casework support to families and ensure effective delivery of family support client services.


Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Ensure a professional service is provided at all times by providing high levels of customer service including intake and directing clients to appropriate services and related administrative tasks
  • Ensures that the best possible outcome for clients is achieved by advocating for clients, establishing strong network links within the local area to provide strong external referral pathways and developing strong partnerships with the church and other internal Anglicare programs
  • Ensures that assessments and case plans are prepared using ARACY 's The Common approach by engaging clients in the development of their plan.
  • Ensure clients are attended to promptly by processing referrals and appointments within agreed timeframes

About you:

  • Minimum Certificate IV Community Services or equivalent
  • Knowledge, awareness and ability to communicate effectively with services in the local area
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients from different and varied backgrounds, including CALD and Indigenous communities
  • Ability to deal with complex client needs and provide crisis intervention
  • Valid paid Working with Children's Check (WWC)
  • High level of computer skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Covid 19 vaccination is strongly recommended
