The Indigenous Recruitment Specialist will work with key stakeholders within Defence Force Recruiting and the Australian Defence Force (DFR) to maximise indigenous enlistments to achieve recruitment goals and objectives in line with the values and strategic mission of DFR.

Description

You will:

  • Maintain a high standard of written and verbal communication skills to ensure clarity and understanding of message with all stakeholder.
  • Work across multiple platforms simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a responsive and professional way to manage and meet expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with national Specialist Recruitment Team to share successes, challenges and deliver a consistent recruitment experience

Profile
If you have experience in working within indigenous recruitment we would love to hear from you.

Your background will demonstrate:

  • An understanding of defence / defence industry is desirable
  • A clientfocused and customercentric attitude and aptitude
  • Experience effectively hiring, nurturing and selecting indigenous talent
  • Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills
