Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruitment Specialist


The Talent Acquisition Specialist sources high performing talent for the current hiring needs of the company and prepare talent pipelines for future business growth.

Responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition process of both technical, professional, leadership or trades/operator roles ensuring successful transition as employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive working relationships with a wide variety of hiring managers and stakeholders; guiding and coaching them to ensure confidence of the Talent Acquisition (TA) process.
  • Collaborating with Hiring Managers to ensure clear understanding of the position requirements.
  • Collaborate with HRBP for relevant changes to position descriptions.
  • Provide Hiring Managers appropriate tools for successful interviewing.
  • Provide timely and accurate data for reporting of TA analytics.
  • Effectively liaise with HR Administrators and other stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
  • Provide Hiring Managers appropriate updates on the status of open jobs.
  • Be a positive contributor to the TA team through collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Actively participate in business improvement initiatives of the TA process.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills Required
Key experience, qualifications and skills for this role include:

  • Relevant Degree qualifications preferred.
  • Prior experience as Talent Acquisition Specialist, preferably in similar industrial, manufacturing engineering or similar industries.
  • Ability to influence Hiring Managers
  • Experience with different interview formats (e.g. phone, group, structured interviews etc.).
  • Experience with fullcycle recruiting.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant employment regulations and legislation.
  • Experience with resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong verbal as well as nonverbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
