As part of the Telstra Enterprise Defence Engagement team, your mission will be to meet the critical needs of the Department of Defence to deliver secure products, platforms and services with our unique, and world-class Telstra IP.

What you'll do

As a Client Partner, you draw on expertise in customer account management, deep knowledge of Telstra's capabilities and products, and leverage your relationship building skills to deliver the following responsibilities:

  • Establish, grow and maintain strategic customer relationships to deliver exceptional customer experiences, contribute to high NPS and drive profitability.
  • Contribute to or lead the development of customer contact/engagement plans that nurture and grow existing customer relationships to retain and grow core telecommunications and/or emerging technology revenue for assigned portfolios.
  • Authentically engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Telstra to identify, qualify and drive portfolio growth opportunities, seeking support, direction and insights in customer solutions in order to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead customer initiatives or components of initiatives (e.g., business advisory consulting, workshop facilitation, strategic planning sessions) that drive strategic business opportunities to Telstra and that have a significant degree of impact on portfolio retention and growth.
  • Identify and act to address aged debtor risks within delegated customer portfolios, collaborating with relevant areas of the business to manage and resolve issues.
