Position Title:
Data Quality Analyst

Rate:
$783-$915/day + super

Duration: 3 months

Location:
Sydney

Purpose:

The Data Quality Analyst plays a pivotal role in understanding and improving data quality across the business.

This position supports the Data Management Tools responsible for managing metadata, data lineage, and data quality monitoring, contributing to the transformation of data quality management capabilities within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data quality issues and ensure master reference data accuracy and relevance to meet organizational needs.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality management processes and systems, leveraging industry best practices.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on data qualityrelated topics.

Experience:

  • Handson experience in Data Mining or defining Data Quality rules using SQL Scripts or tools like Informatica Data Quality; or
  • Broad experience in data analysis within complex information system environments; or
  • Familiarity with data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts; or
  • Experience in creating and maintaining data dictionaries, managing metadata, or maintaining master and reference data.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification and minimum 4 years' experience in a data role.
  • Proficient in data analysis with knowledge of SQL (advantageous), advanced Excel for data manipulation, and report building.
