About the company


Our client, a Global leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry, requires the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source a QC Microbiology Analyst to join their team on a contract basis until June 2023, with a view for extension.

This ultramodern facility is located in a convenient CBD location easily accessible by public transport and has free onsite parking.


About the role
Perform microbiological testing of in-process and finished products using a range of techniques
Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with the approved procedures
Assist with investigations of out of specification test results
Conduct data entry of results into LIMS
Assist in the validation of assays
Write standard operating procedures and documentation

To be successful in this position you will have:
A Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
Previous laboratory experience performing Bacteriology testing
Good understanding of Microbiology techniques, including streaking/plating, bacterial identification & aseptic technique
Understanding of GMP
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
