About the company:

Our client, a Global leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry requires the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source 2 x QC Microbiology Analysts to join their team on a contract basis. This ultramodern facility is easily accessible by public transport and has free on site parking.

One of the roles will run until August 2024. The second role will run for 12 months with view to extension.

This position will be Monday - Friday but some Sunday work might be required, so candidates must be flexible

About the role:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support the team to ensure that the assays performed in each department are prepared and executed in accordance with the code of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
  • Perform QC sterility testing
  • Support the validation and maintenance systems of an operational area to ensure plant, equipment and processes is available as required
  • Prepare reagents, stocktakes and routine cleaning

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related scientific discipline and/or demonstrated laboratory experience
  • Ability to accurately maintain testing records
  • Ability to use computer systems for data entry and inquiry functions
  • Experience in general assay preparation
  • Strong scientific report writing skills
  • Experience in use of isolator would be advantageous
