About the company:
The company is a leading Global Pharmaceutical organization currently experiencing significant growth. Situated in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, this company specializes in manufacturing therapeutic products for both Australian and international markets.

About the role:
We are in search of a skilled QC Biochemistry Analyst who demonstrates proactivity and self-motivation. Reporting to the Head of QC Analytical Technology, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and compliance of all products with Australian regulations.

This is a 12-month contract with a possibility of extension.

Responsibilities include:
- Development and validation of biochemistry-specific methods.
- Manage and deliver small projects and associated deliverables.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field (Biology, etc.).
- Preferably, possess a post-graduate qualification such as a Masters or Doctorate degree.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in cGMP Quality Control or a minimum of 1 year in method development/ validation related to assessment of biological pharmaceutical products, or equivalent postgraduate experience.
- Essential experience in cGMP quality control microbiology (bioburden) and/or sterility testing.
- Postgraduates will be viewed favorably for this role.

To excel in this position, you must have the following skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or a related scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
    - Preferably possess a post-graduate qualification such as a Masters or Doctorate degree.
    - Minimum of 2 years' experience in cGMP Quality Control or a minimum of 1 year in method development/ validation for biological pharmaceutical products, or equivalent postgraduate experience.
    - Experience in ELISA, Electrophoresis, or Endotoxin testing is advantageous.
