    We are partnered with a leading non-profit organisation in Victoria to find an experienced Team Leader. You will be responsible for leading a team of multidisciplinary practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe and effective responses to vulneralbe Aboriginal women, children, men and families seeking support and safety from Family Violence.

You will:

  • Provide leadership, supervision and support to practitioners to deliver the program
  • Provide task supervision to a multidisciplinary team employed from a range of different services as required.
  • Coordinate intake and case work and ensure use of appropriate case management frameworks
  • Ensure staffing and rosters are up to date to ensure delivery of service to Aboriginal families
  • Monitor and ensure the performance of team and individuals against key performance indicators
  • Ensure that all client information is recorded on the CRM
  • Provide consults to other staff within the organisation when required
  • Ensure that all documents in relation to brokerage, data reports are kept and processed accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with Victoria Police, Child Protection and other community organisations and stakeholders.

You must have:

  • Tertiary qualification in social work, social sciences or related field or working experience and expertise in the sector.
  • Experience, knowledge and competency in Family Violence and case management practices
  • Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal cultures and experience working in a culturally respectful manner with Aboriginal families
  • Proven leadership Experience in a fast paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge and trianing on the MARAM framework
  • Current COVID19 vaccination
  • Successful applicants must also have or be willing to obtain a Police Check, a Working With Children's Check, Drivers Licence, and be able to provide two professional referees._
