Council's Events team are seeking enthusiastic and results driven team players to join the team.

Working with the Senior Events Officer and Events Officers, you will assist in all aspects of delivering high quality community events including both setting up and packing down of events.

Essential:

  • Experience in an event assistance role
  • Previous experience in running functions and outdoor community events
  • Experience working with community groups, staff and volunteers
  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a team environment both as a leader and participant


To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication.

If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
