Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities will include the following:

  • Instruct, motivate, and assist participants in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals.
  • Effectively deliver virtual programming including: 1:1 coaching sessions, educational webinars, live streaming classes (as needed), on demand content production (as needed), and other quality engagement activities delivered through our digital app.
  • Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions to assess clients' goals, interests, current capacity, and health history. Then deliver effective recommendations (the "Gameplan").
  • Update Gameplan and/or reevaluate clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and feedback through the coach admin portal.
  • Build and foster strong coach-client relationships.
  • Drive high levels of active engagement through utilization of in app messaging to continuously check progress and motivate your clients.
  • Ensures the basic level of EXOS methodology is represented in their delivery of all virtual services.
  • Assist with the development of marketing assets as needed to promote the brand.
  • Maintain and foster a positive and inclusive community and culture reflective of EXOS' values.
  • Support achievement of client customer metrics
  • Perform all aspects of the position in a professional manner.
  • Follow established policies and procedures of the company.
  • Maintain professional credentials as required including attending necessary continuing education courses.
  • Some travel may be required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum of (2) two years experience coaching experience or completion of Exos Performance Internship
  • BA/BS in Kinesiology or Sports Science or related degree (Master's Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or related field desired)
  • Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM
  • Excellent video presence and presentation skills in both small and large group settings
  • Strong customer service skills where servicing the "client" is top priority
  • Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals
  • Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products

Physical Requirements:

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or related field.
  • Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM
  • Experience teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability
  • Ability to manage own schedule and balancing administrative responsibilities with clientfacing services
