About the Opportunities


The People and Culture Administrative Assistant is a position of trust and requires a high level of compliance to the confidentiality of the information the People and Culture team are responsible for.

The position is often a point of contact for staff and must demonstrate sound customer service skills and the organisation's values when interacting with staff at all times.

The People and Culture Administrative Assistant supports the People and Culture Team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Action pre-employment documentation as overseen by the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Generate employment contracts.
  • Administer employment contract variation letters.
  • Digital file creation, record keeping, and maintenance of accurate data.
  • Input data into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Maintain People and Culture project records, including spread sheets.
  • Respond to general phone enquiries, and direct more complex matters to the relevant more senior People and Culture team member.
  • Action tier 1 level help desk tickets, for example, extracting and uploading documents, password requests, etc.
  • Verify relevant compliance checks

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • Certificate in Administration or similar and a minimum of 12months experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and repetitive workload demands.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle high volume of work with accuracy and good attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in a position that requires a highlevel of confidentiality to be maintained at all times.
  • Demonstrated high level of computer literacy.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
