Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a

Organisational Support Officer to join a Local Government on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the OD Change Management Team Lead in the delivery of a contemporary learning and development program that aligns with Council's strategic and regulatory objectives.
  • Provide system administration support to the People & Culture team.
  • Provide system administration support of Council's Learning Management System.
  • Assist in People and Culture projects.
  • Undertake research, analysis and reporting.
  • Provide assistance with the coordination and set up of training programs across the organisation
  • Assist with embedding outcomes from employment lifecycle projects across the People & Culture function.
  • Assist with creating purchase orders and receipting invoicing for the P&C team, as required.
  • Assist with Organisation Induction Program

Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:

  • Previous experience in a Human resources role or administration role
  • Ability to and experience in delivery of quality customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team and achieving corporate goals
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource or related field
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the HR function or relevant work experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Systems to coordinate initiatives and programs
  • National Criminal History check
