As a Water Planning Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the innovative planning team that is revolutionizing the strategy and planning of water and wastewater assets. By joining this team, you will help expand our long-term partnerships with key clients such as Sydney Water, Hunter Water, Icon Water, and Shoalhaven Water.

In your new position, you will:

  • Carry out an integrated water cycle planner role focusing on municipal water and wastewater supplies, including integrated water management, strategic planning, and detailed planning.
  • Work as a contributing member of a leading team that collaborates with clients and team members to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Assist in cultivating a culture of diversity and inclusion in a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Demonstrate drive and ambition to advance your career through Aurecon's programs and mentorship opportunities.
  • Leverage your strong written and verbal communication skills to enhance interdisciplinary relationships and produce planning outputs like reports and presentations.

What Qualities Are We Seeking from You?

Above all, we seek individuals who share our sincere passion for reshaping engineering and are committed to continuous learning to help shape the future. We are open to various levels of experience, but this role is well-suited for someone with a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and planning experience in the Water industry. Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software like Autodesk Infoworks, MIKE, and/or Bentley platforms is highly desirable.
