The Role

We are thrilled to be on the hunt for a Lean Manager who is ready to make an impact and positively influence our team on Ventia's Facilities Maintenance contract with AGFMA (The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement).

This role will see you reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, working alongside all other teams including Data & Analytics, Work Order Integrity Team, Operational Teams; Asset Management; Projects; Planning and Finance.

This is a permanent fulltime role based in Adelaide.

The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:

  • Driving Lean Training basic-intermediate) throughout the AGFMA contract, driving a Continuous Improvement culture to all levels of stakeholders
  • Driving change through relevant change management and leadership theory to ensure development and learning is embedded within the workplace culture
  • Responsible for assisting teams to identify, deconflict, and successfully rollout improvement initiatives employing Lean Principles and frameworks
  • Rollout and embedding of the Visual Management system; following up with stakeholders across a number of worksite to drive and embed the Visual Management Boards
  • Driving continuous improvement activities stemming from Visual Management Board identification of CI opportunities
  • Ability to work at strategy level to identify, administer and manage large scale Business/Continuous Improvement programs

Skills & Experience:

  • Lean Sixsigma Black Belt (pref)
  • Significant experience as a Lean Six Sigma business leader
  • Business Improvement, Training & Change Experience
  • Ability to work across a level of stakeholders from Site leadership through to Senior Contract Management; ability to report to Executive Leadership
  • Ability to work at strategy level to identify, administer and manage large scale Business/Continuous Improvement programs
  • Experience in a large Infrastructure or Facilities Management organisation highly regarded
  • Business Intelligence; Risk savvy
