Your new role


As the
Data Analytics Delivery Lead** within the Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for delivering trusted and relevant business insights and products.

You will successfully lead the Data Science and Analytics team and collaborate with the Product Owner to understand specific business problems / opportunities.


You will leverage CSC's structured and unstructured data assets to uncover relevant insights by using the Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) or similar methodology, and communicate those insights to stakeholders to ensure proper understanding of the potential value.

In this role, you will build effective relationships with your internal and external stakeholders with a customer centric approach, and communicate analytical findings effectively.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team to deliver the outcomes as agreed with the Product Owner, and contribute on highimpact and highcomplexity work.
  • Assist the Product Owner to understand feasibility, including helping to define how Data Analytics/Science can help solve the business problem and assigning work to the team.
  • Lead the transition of the Data Analytics team to the newly built AWS cloud based environment, including SageMaker Studio, with the support of Solution Architects and DevOps Engineers.
  • Support the team with tools, processes, practices, skills and knowledge.
  • Develop the team, building a deep level of business understanding and technical skill, including training and upskilling.

Desired Skills and Experience:

What you'll need to excel

  • Relevant degree including Economics, Business, Commerce, Data Analysis/Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience leading a successful team of Data Analysts or Data Scientists.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of, architecture & tooling, modelling and data leveraging activities.
  • Experience and knowledge in the delivery of Data and Analytics solutions utilizing agile delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent track record of achieving valuable outcomes for the business, through engagement & building trusted relationships especially with customer analytics to understand and influence behaviour
  • Technical knowledge and expertise, particularly in advanced analytics methods, modelling, statistical & research methods, SQL & Python and/or similar.
  • Effectively communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders including data visualization and data storytelling.
  • Experience using AWS products for Data Science and Analytics (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of the Superannuation industry (desirable).
