Your new role


As the Data Analyst you will drive the ingestion, monitoring and reporting of investment data in an efficient and effective manner.

You will demonstrate highly developed analytical skills to implement and maintain data focused solutions for the delivery of timely and accurate information across the organisation.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Data management across investment related data with a focus on data quality, timeliness, process design and documentation.
  • The creation and maintenance of dashboards with tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • The daily monitoring of and the creation and maintenance of ETL processes. The investigation and resolution of issues as they arise.
  • Involvement in process automation across the investment and investment operations teams.
  • Assistance with data queries, including the use of SQL for the creation and maintenance of automated extracts.
  • Varied project work in the area of investment data and reporting.

Desired Skills and Experience:

What you'll need to excel

  • Tertiary qualifications either in Accounting/Finance or an ITrelated field.
  • Experience in data management and working with relational databases.
  • Programming experience in SQL and ideally exposure to other languages.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, ideally with experience in Power Query and VBA.
  • Experience working with investment related data.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, analytical ability and judgement and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Proven experience in processing and reporting on numbers and data, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
