THE ROLE


The ICT Officer will provide ICT (Information and Communications Technology) support services to Corporate Services and all other YMCA sites, services and operations.

The position will work closely with the IT Manager and other external IT and communication consultants and vendors to provide a consistent and secure network connection in addition to supporting reliable and modern technologies, systems and hardware.


We are looking for someone with a solid IT foundation and motivated to continue to learn and grow with hands on experience.

As an organisation, we are just starting the exciting journey of significant upgrades to our technology systems, including transitioning from on-premise servers to a cloud-based environment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Manage, troubleshoot and provide ICT support to all stakeholders, remote and inperson.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain technical infrastructure, storage and network traffic to optimize performance and efficiency across the business
  • Install, configure and support software and hardware
  • Maintain registers for the management of ICT assets
  • User account management, setup and manage new/exiting employees (account & hardware)
  • Monitor and maintain YMCASA Extranet (SharePoint platform), including user account management
  • Advise on and purchase ICT hardware for all YMCA South Australia sites aligned to procurement procedures
  • Proactively drive the ongoing assessment and monitoring of ICT capability and maintenance requirements, including identifying opportunities for systems
  • Engage the necessary teams/partners/people to plan, cost and deliver the initiatives in agreed timeframes.
  • A strong sense of Cyber Security best practices, ensuring the security of YMCA SA data and infrastructure.
