Join us as a Community Support Worker within our Community Access program, where you will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities to lead the life they desire. In this position, you will provide various services to help clients live independently, actively participate in their local community, and engage in meaningful activities.This is a part-time permanent role with a 50-hour contract per fortnight. Shifts will vary between 6 am and 7 pm from Monday to Sunday, primarily in the Port Stephens area, with the flexibility to work across Maitland, Hunter Valley (no more than an hour's drive) being essential.Key Focus
- Supporting clients in leading an active lifestyle and engaging in community activities
- Implementing positive behavior strategies according to behavior support plans
- Assisting clients with personal and hygiene care
- Performing household tasks like menu planning, cooking, and cleaning
- Maintaining progress notes and records
- Regularly updating families on clients' progress effectivelyAbout You
