About the Role

The Senior Technical Analyst oversees the management of business applications, ensuring they are well maintained, upgraded, and deliver functional enhancements. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake Business Application Leadership, including system administration, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement applications, monitor performance, and manage environments
  • Provide reporting on system performance and manage upgrades and patches
  • Stay updated on digital automation trends and opportunities to enhance the University
  • Offer technical expertise in developing and supporting business applications and digital services
  • Provide peer-review and mentorship to junior team members
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Experience with modern workplace technologies and digital automation
  • Understanding of business analysis concepts, planning, and organisational skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and escalate when necessary
  • Skills in analysis, design, development, testing, and support of computer-based applications
