Content Developer

Our Content team creates and maintains a comprehensive library of up-to-date, automated forms and precedents, enabling law firms to produce legal documentation quickly and consistently.

We are looking for a HotDocs Developer to become an integral part of the team.

Our team works closely with clients to ensure they maximise the use of their content and allows the team to constantly review and update content.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Content development using HotDocs

· Design and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

· Check and test automated documents

· Develop procedures, identify, and apply tools for quality assurance of software development

· Provide assistance and support to the team

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE REALLY GOOD AT

· Technical / professional knowledge and skills – having achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise

· Applied learning – assimilating and applying new job-related information in a timely manner

· Ability to think logically about complex problems, source and analyse information and develop solutions

· Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with customers and colleagues

· Excellent computer literacy

· Attention to detail

· Customer centric approach

· Team player with flexible attitude

· Excellent time management skills

· Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

Requirements

· Experience working with and understanding legal precedents

· Precedent development, legal assistant or paralegal work within an Australian legal practice essential

· HotDocs Development experience essential

· Solid understanding of document automation

· Advanced Word skills including creating, modifying and applying styles

· Solid problem-solving and issue resolution skills

· Level 1 Helpdesk or Support experience desirable

· Intermediate to Advanced MS Word VBA skills desirable

· Familiarity and technical experience with Windows, Excel and Outlook.

· Knowledge of Practice and/or Document Management Systems
