We are currently looking for a full time Broker Support Consultant to join the Partnership team fixed term contract (six months).
The Broker Support Consultant has the responsibility of supporting brokers with day to day enquiries to drive and achieve mutually beneficial partnerships and results.

What you will be doing
- Manage inbound enquiries (phone, online, mail) generated by the bank's accredited broker partners
- Ensure professional efficiency with an emphasis on delivering exceptional service
- Ensure all broker enquiries are followed up promptly and professionally
- Take part in the bank's quality assurance program by achieving quality, productivity and service targets
- Keep abreast of all legislation governing lending and its impact on day to day loan processing
- Regularly review loan procedures and policy, recommending areas for improvement
- Activate Property Hub for newly accredited brokers and /or resetting passwords
What you will bring
- Banking experience and knowledge of banking products and services
- Sound understanding of banking credit underwriting policy
- Knowledge of lending legislation (e.g. National Credit Act and Privacy Act) highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Ability to identify customer needs through questioning techniques
- Ability to investigate and follow up queries and problem solve
- Empathy to the customer's financial situation
- Good computer literacy
- Commitment to Bank Australia's purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
