We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at a school in Gippsland, Victoria. The successful candidate will provide speech pathology services to students, their families, and school staff, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech pathology services that meet the needs of students, their families, and school staff.
- Provide speech pathology services that adhere to the highest professional standards.
- Respect students as individuals and promote their welfare at all times.
- Coordinate delivery of support services across the school, involving various work areas.
- Determine work priorities and approaches within the school and management policy.
- Interpret and analyze data to inform and provide authoritative advice to senior management.
- Provide training and development for others in the adaptation and application of professional fields.
- Manage the delivery of a professional support service, including the development of policy and operational practices.
- Provide leadership, training, and development for others in the adaptation and application of professional fields.
- Undertake advanced interventions in dealing with complex cases that may require cross-profession or agency collaboration.
Requirements
- Aptitude, experience, and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
- Capacity to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary professional team.
- Ability to design, deliver, or broker professional learning, preferably for teachers and other relevant professionals.
- Ability to deliver a comprehensive speech pathology service to students and families in an educational environment.
- Capacity to apply highly developed assessment, conceptual, and analytical skills.
- Well-developed communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
