ABOUT THIS ROLE
***We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Commercial Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier. This role will see you take the lead on a variety of commercial and contract related tasks as well as other project tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement a contract management framework
  • Reviewing and providing input into contracts and commercial documents
  • Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations.
  • Prepare correspondence and reports as needed
  • Develop and implement procurement frameworks.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • Support contract negotiations.
  • Provide advice and assistance related to commercial matters.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Experience with Defence and Government procurement processes.
  • Experience with the development of ASDEFCON artefacts of similar.
  • Experience in contract management of iterative and agile delivery commercial arrangements.
  • Process orientated with good attention to detail.
  • Minimum NV1 security clearance and be able to upgrade if required
