What will you do?

Are you prepared to be the welcoming face of our brand? We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Receptionist at our bustling Office in Williams Landing. If you thrive in a lively environment, excel at multitasking, and enjoy connecting with people, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

This position is open for a 12-month fixed term contract.

As a receptionist at Target, you will:

  • Operate the Reception desk with warmth and courtesy, ensuring all visitors, contractors, and team members receive a professional welcome.
  • Record relevant details of incoming visitors and efficiently manage visitor access.
  • Manage incoming calls on the Main Switchboard during business hours, directing calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Offer administrative support across various business areas, showcasing your versatility and willingness to contribute.
  • Assist in implementing emergency procedures and building evacuations, prioritizing the safety and security of all individuals.
  • Be prepared to handle first aid situations and utilize emergency equipment as necessary.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to engage with visitors and staff in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, creating positive interactions.
  • High computer literacy, including proficiency in switchboard software and Office suite applications.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, especially during high-demand periods.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with various individuals.
