Project Marketing Manager - Customer Marketing


ING, Australia's most recommended bank is looking for an experienced
Project Marketing Manager - Customer Marketing to join its high performing Marketing Team for a 12 month parental leave cover.


In this key role, you'll plan, implement and optimise the go to market communications for key projects that occur all across our business.

This includes full mix marketing communications on a wide variety of initiatives.


You'll love this role if you enjoy thinking about great customer outcomes and solving complex issues with like-minded results focused team members.

To be successful you'll own the projects roadmap communication streams and work in a variety of project teams to deliver to deliver the projects key objectives.


What are you going to do? You will be

  • Representing the Marketing function in crossfunctional project teams to understand the challenge and develop tailored customer plans and communication briefs for quality outcomes
  • Working with the Customer Intelligence team on sizing and canvasing opportunities with a 'test and learn' mindset
  • Developing communications on time and on budget including reporting costs for the development of a project allocated marketing budget
  • Reporting on marketing performance and optimising accordingly to meet objectives of the projects
  • Delivering customer focused, creative and engaging communications in a highly regulated industry

What are we looking for? Someone who has

  • Exceptional communications skills, with project management of comms delivery, within a highly regulated, fast paced environment
  • Strong decision maker with a problem solving mindset to develop and take customer focussed communications to the market
  • An understanding of Retail Banking and/or with experience delivering communications for sometimes complex projects is favourable
  • Exposure to working with Customer and Intelligence functions (for analytical and targeting purposes)
  • All of the key ingredients to be an exceptional team player with a can do attitude
  • The ability to 'think like a customer' and to simplify the experience and have the utmost of optimistic and positive attitude
