The Role
Vue de Monde is the iconic heart of the Vue Group, showcasing brilliant Australian produce in breath-taking surroundings. Our fine-dining restaurant is consistently reviewed amongst Australia's best.

Vue de monde is currently looking for a dedicated Kitchen Attendant/Porter to support our back of house team and ensure smooth kitchen operations, before, during and after service.


This is a casual position that requires flexibility and weekend work, your shifts and may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands.

Night shifts are generally 4:00pm-1:00am.

The day-to-day will include:

  • Cleaning the kitchen, utensils, kitchen appliances, floors, walls and all surfaces
  • Removal and cleaning of rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning and polishing glasses and cutlery
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation
  • Ensuring all food preparation tasks you are assigned are carried out in a timely fashion, to a high standard and within food hygiene guidelines
  • Assisting in other areas of Vue de monde operations as directed by chef
As a Kitchen Attendant you will need to possess the following:

  • Energy and passion with industry experience considered advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • A positive attitude and genuine customer focus in service excellence
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Reliable, organised, and well presented at all times
  • Selfmotivated and a desire to continually learn and develop
