About the role

Join ACMI as an Events and Programs Stage Manager and be part of a professional team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for live events, ensuring effective on-ground event management and successful delivery of quality events and public programs.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Experience in stage or event management, particularly in delivering public, corporate, or festival programs within a cultural organization or similar setting. Exposure to fast-paced production environments, such as festivals, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, along with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Excellent systematic decision-making skills, with the flexibility to work both as part of a team and autonomously when necessary.

What we offer

  • This Grade 3 position is on a casual basis, offering an hourly rate of $47.02 (including casual loading) plus relevant penalties. Most shifts are scheduled for evenings and weekends.
